Alpharetta’s Big Creek Greenway will be closed May 12th through May 16, 2014 from Rock Mill Park south to the Roswell’s portion of the trail. During this closure they will be making repairs to numerous bridge’s along the greenway. http://www.alpharetta.ga.us/index.php?p=136

The Greenway is closed again due to flooding. With nearly 2 inches of rain in the area, the river had reached 8 feet at Kimball Bridge and 7 feet at Hwy 9 when this article was written.
