This weekend I changed my normal walking of the Greenway, dusted off my bike and decided to continue on past Highway 9 heading towards McFarland Parkway and see how far I could get on Phase 1 of the trail.

An event is scheduled this November for the public to learn about safety on the Big Creek Greenway Forsyth. It is scheduled for Thursday, November 12th at 7pm at Sharon Springs Park.
Fall on the Big Creek Greenway
Fall is my favorite season in Georgia. The weather is a great relief from the hot, humid Georgia summers. Throw in the brilliant colors as the leaves change and begin to fall, and there is no reason not to be outside.
Big Creek Greenway Clean Up October 24th
A volunteer cleanup is scheduled for this coming Saturday October 24th on the Forsyth Big Creek Greenway. Due to the above average rainfall for the past couple months, excessive amounts of sand and debris have covered the greenway.
